A glorious morning but no wind! Clouds moved in, and some wind followed but from the North East rather than forecast West. Racing did get underway at 12.30pm, and the wind held for an hour but then eased as it changed to the forecast direction leaving many fleets to wallow for a while, not something they’ve had the pleasure of this week!
The afternoon race was the ladies/juniors/over 60s race which was sailed in steadyish winds – how unusual is that?!
The 3rd prize giving of the week will be held this evening, and will be followed by Bass has Talent – there’s usually a vast array of acts performing. What will be in store for us tonight?
